Welcome Back!
We hope you had a wonderful Spring Break!  Believe it or not, we are in April!  It’s amazing how quickly this year is moving, but you know what they say about time when you’re having fun!  We look forward to working hard during the last quarter to ensure that our students finish the year strong!

Events and Reminders:
Updated 5/3/16
  • Teacher Appreciation Week, Monday May 2 – Friday May 6!  We are so fortunate to have such a dedicated, caring, and hardworking staff working with our children!  You can show your gratitude for the BEST staff in Baltimore County during Teacher Appreciation Week in the following ways:
    • Say THANK YOU to a teacher!  You can complete the attached Appreciation Form with your child for any staff member and give it to your child’s teacher or drop it off in the Main Office by Wednesday May 4.
    • Donate a dessert for Staff!  We will be treating our amazing staff to lunch on Friday May 6 and are accepting dessert donations from the community.  Feel free to drop off a dessert by Friday morning, May 6.  (All donations should be store bought or include a list of ingredients for allergy purposes.)
  • Family S.T.E.M. Night on Tuesday May 10, 4:30- 6:00pm!  We invite the community to our Family S.T.E.M. (Science Technology Engineering and Math) Night.  We will be continuing with our “family friendly” model for STEM Night.  Instead of reporting to your child’s grade level classes and rotating on a fixed schedule, all activities will be open to all ages and you will be able to choose activities. This way, the whole family can participate in the fun math learning activities together!  Though we will not be serving dinner, all attendees will be able to “Engineer an Ice Cream Sundae”!  We will also be raffling off great prizes, including a Family 4 pack of tickets to the Maryland Science Center! We hope to see you at STEM Night!
  • School Closed Monday May 30 for Memorial Day.
