BCPS parents, caregivers invited to free workshop on grief
Workshop offered by Gilchrist and BCPS Parent University
What: Grief is a normal response to loss, change, and transition. In 2020, the world has been described as “collectively grieving.” If recent events – such as the COVID-19 pandemic, economic stresses, unemployment, and racial reckoning – have generated new feelings of sadness, anger, irritability, or confusion, you may be grieving. All BCPS parents/caregivers are invited to a presentation about how to balance the necessary grief process while taking care of day-to-day life. The workshop is being offered by Gilchrist and the BCPS Parent University. The presenter will be Hilary Harrington, a licensed clinical professional counsellor and counselor trainee with Gilchrist.
